Stories
An exhibition of paintings by Frans Wesselman
Some Pictures of the opening. General opening times: Sunday 19th October, 2pm to 5pm. Thereafter, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 2pm to 5pm until 15th November.
‘I am fascinated by telling stories using pictures rather than words and have spent most of my life pursuing this fascination. I work in different disciplines, etching, painting and stained glass, each offering a different approach to the same object. You may recognise some of the subjects in this exhibition. Some are based on literature, some refer to things I have seen while travelling; other images you are invited to make up your own narrative.’ Frans Wesselman was born and studied in Holland. His work has been exhibited widely and is a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and the Worcestershire Guild of Designer-Craftsmen.
Venue: The Old School Room
