Botanical Illustration - Part II
A monthly painting course with Moya Davern, running for five months. (Other dates: Thursday 15th April, 6th May, 27th May,17th June, 1st July.)
This course is over six afternoons and is sponsored by The School of Education and Life Long Learning at Aberystwyth University. In-depth observation of leaves, plants and flowers will enable you to accurately draw and paint detailed studies of a variety of subjects. Watercolour techniques colour mixing and matching together with tonal modelling will enable you to create realistic paintings. It is recommended that you take Botanical Illustration 1 or have previous experience of botanical illustration before embarking on this course. Moya Davern is a highly experienced art tutor teaching a variety of different subjects with a range of mediums. She has two gold and three silver-gilt medals from the RHS for her botanical painting.

The Bleddfa Insight Study Group
(Other dates: Tuesday 4th May, 1st June, 6th July.)
This is a continuation of the group that started last year and an opportunity
for new people to join. Insight implies the ability to see within, beneath
the surface of ourselves and situations and allow an innate intelligence
and wisdom to operate. This is an opportunity to explore, share and reflect
with each other, drawing on our experience and all our faculties of mind,
